LISTEN NOW
What happens when disaster strikes? In light of recent findings with Hillsong Church in Australia and Mars Hill Church in the U.S., how should we as Christians respond? Should local churches address these kind of things? And at a basic level, what does conflict management and conflict resolution look like for those who are being redeemed?
Aaron and Jon discuss these matters in detail. Not the specifics of these two churches or any number of others where abuse of authority and even sexual abuse has occurred, but what principles can we put into practice to ensure we are addressing issues in a biblical and expedient way? A difficult topic to be sure, but one that needs to be addressed in the church.
As always, click on the “Equipping” tab and that will give you access to our “Disciple-Making Toolbox.” Check out the toolbox and work through the resources. There you can find tools for explaining the gospel, both to you and to others; study guides for walking through the basics of discipleship; and other more in depth methods of counseling along with the most effective tool we use for disciple making, called “Core Groups”.
Check it out, give us some feedback, tell your SG leaders, Ministry Leaders, Pastors. All of this is designed to help you multiply disciples.
Let the Word dwell richly in you and may God multiply your efforts for the Kingdom.
