FAMILY REUNION

Welcome to the Family Reunion Guide for the [Multiply]Project Celebration 2024

You’ve already won

Verse 1
There's peace that outlasts darkness
Hope that's in the blood
There's future grace that's mine today
That Jesus Christ has won
So I can face tomorrow
For tomorrow's in Your hands
All I need You will provide
Just like You always have

Chorus
I'm fighting a battle
That you've already won
No matter what comes my way
I will overcome
Don't know what You're doing
But I know what You've done
I'm fighting a battle that
You've already won

Verse 2
There's mercy in the waiting
Mana for today
And when it's gone I know you're not
You are my hope and stay
When the sea is raging
Your Spirit is my help
He'll fix my eyes on Jesus Christ
I'll say that is well
I know that it is well

Repeat Chorus

Bridge
I know how the story ends
We will be with you again
You're my Savior, my defense
No more fear in life or death
I know how the story ends
We will be with you again
You're my Savior, my defense
No more fear in life or death

Repeat Chorus

WELCOME!

We’re glad you are here to celebrate the [Multiply] Project

O Praise The Name (Anástasis)

Verse 1
I cast my mind to Calvary
Where Jesus bled and died for me
I see His wounds, His hands, His feet
My Savior on that cursed tree

Verse 2
His body bound and drenched in tears
They laid Him down in Joseph's tomb
The entrance sealed by heavy stone
Messiah still and all alone

Chorus
O praise the Name of the Lord our God
O praise His Name forevermore
For endless days we will sing Your praise
Oh Lord, oh Lord our God

Verse 3
Then on the third at break of dawn
The Son of heaven rose again
O trampled death where is your sting?
The angels roar for Christ the King

Repeat Chorus

Verse 4
He shall return in robes of white
The blazing sun shall pierce the night
And I will rise among the saints
My gaze transfixed on Jesus' face

Repeat Chorus

GRatitude

Verse 1
All my words fall short
I've got nothing new
How could I express
All my gratitude?

Verse 2
I could sing these songs
As I often do
But every song must end
And You never do

Chorus
So I throw up my hands
And praise You again and again
'Cause all that I have is a
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
And I know it's not much
But I've nothing else fit for a King
Except for a heart singing
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Verse 3
I've got one response
I've got just one move
With my arms stretched wide
I will worship You

Repeat Chorus

Bridge
So come on my soul
Don't you get shy on me
Lift up your song
'Cause you've got a lion inside of those lungs
Get up and praise the Lord

Repeat Chorus

Verse 1
Mountains of heartache and towers of pain
Be cast down in Jesus' name
Rivers of hatred and oceans of shame
Be dried up in Jesus' name
Fear-filled divisions will all be erased
We claim this in Jesus' name
All tribes and tongues, every culture and race
United in Jesus' name

Chorus
So we will raise our song
Praise Your mighty name, praise Your mighty name
You've won us by Your blood
So hear us when we pray
In Jesus' Name (we pray)
In Jesus' Name (we pray)

Verse 2
The promise upon us one Spirit-filled Church
Together in Jesus' name
Praising the one who has lifted the curse
Forever in Jesus' name

✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

  • You can email info@multiplythechurch.com anytime or call 757-798-7003. We would love to speak with you!

  • “Stewardship” is a word that you often hear in church - but not too many other places. Basically it means to take care of something that actually belongs to someone else. As Christ-followers we believe that everything we have comes from God. We are supposed to take care of, and make the most use of, all that God gives us. This is especially true when it comes to how we leverage our personal finances for God’s purposes.

  • We believe God has called each local church and its members to multiply disciples, leaders, and churches. The [Multiply] stewardship project is the primary way we work together to make that happen each year. We use this season to examine the Biblical principles of sacrificial giving and generosity for the sake of multiplication. It is beyond our own ability to meet – but it is not beyond what God can do through us!

  • 100% of the funds raised during the stewardship project are used to multiply disciples, leaders and churches. Primarily, we do this by providing resources and training to churches in a way that increases their capacity and ability to make new disciples, develop leaders, and plant churches. Past and current projects include, a church planting residency program, leadership incubator, marketplace ministry support, a local youth program and public events.

  • Our goal is to raise $200,000 this year. Previous campaigns have exceeded their yearly goals. Plus, God always provides what we need exactly when we need it. No matter what we are able to raise, we will use it faithfully to fulfill God’s plans for the [Multiply] mission and adjust our plans.

  • Yes. You are free to limit the duration of your financial commitment. However, [Multiply] now has donors all around the world and our work reaches to Africa, Asia and Central America. Many of these donors decide to continue their support regardless of where they live or are currently stationed. While we would hope everyone could make a year commitment of equal monthly giving, we know that each person’s circumstances are unique. Pledge what God calls you to give, in the way He leads you to make that commitment.

  • Join us as we [Multiply] the gospel! You – not the buildings or projects – are the church. Seek God’s will by praying, “Lord, what would you do through me to accomplish Your will at my church?”

  • Of course! Unforeseen circumstances may cause you to want to increase or decrease your giving commitment in the future. If you give online you will have access to a secure portal for managing your gift. Otherwise you can send an email to info@multiplythechurch.com at any time to make a change.

  • We are asking that all commitments be made by Sunday April 28th, 2024. Commitment cards will be given out at church services before that date. The gift total will be announced on May 5th at the [Multiply] Family of Churches celebration at the [Little Creek]Church building in Norfolk. You can also give online at multiplythechurch.com.

  • Giving toward pledges begins on June 1st.

  • Yes! Even young children can learn the values of commitment, generosity, faith, and sacrifice by signing their own commitment card. Extra cards and envelopes will be available at the [Multiply] office, in each church’s worship center, and at Connections.

  • Absolutely.

  • Yes! That is called FAITH! It pleases God (Heb.11:6)

  • Yes. Simply write “In memory of...” on your commitment card.
